Can I bring children? Do I need to buy a ticket for my baby?
Rainbow Stage follows the standard theatre policy of no babes in arms. We don’t recommend patrons bring children under age three. We ask patrons who are considering bringing younger children to any performance, ask themselves these questions:
- Is the child able to sit through a full length movie without getting up to move around?
- How does the child deal with elements such as heat/humidity, bugs, large crowds, loud music.
Any children causing disruption to the cast, crew or other patrons, may – along with their guardians – be asked to leave the theatre. Everyone entering Rainbow Stage must purchase a ticket.
Please consider asking our box office staff about Relaxed Performances – these are an excellent alternative to the regular expectation of theatre etiquette and are ideal for all patrons who feel more comfortable with a relaxed environment.

What does “not for profit” mean?
What it means is that the entity, as separate from all of the people running it, does not hold on to earnings. They can accumulate assets for large program expenditures, but the organization as an entity doesn’t pay out profits. Most people who work for not-for-profits earn normal or even smaller salaries compared to private profit industry. It’s a job like any other, only the company they work for happens to not pay income tax (even though every employee does.)
