Guidelines
- Scholarships are open exclusively to Manitoba resident Grade 12 high school students.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate acceptance into a full-time, accredited post-secondary degree or diploma program that is directly related to their category of application, for the upcoming academic year.
- Scholarship winners will only receive their award upon demonstrating proof and acceptance of such enrollment, and payment of tuition for the upcoming academic year.
- Up to (4) scholarships may be awarded, each to a maximum value of $750
Grade 12 high school students may apply under any number of the following categories:
Performance
* Open to Singers, Dancers and/or Actors
Technical/Production
* Set, Lighting, Sound, Wardrobe, Hair, and Makeup Designers
* Prop building, Carpentry, Scenic Painting
* Production, Stage Management
* Student Direction/Choreography
Musician
* Instrumentalists, Composers, Lyricists
• Applicants submit a video (send us a YouTube link) for the Education Committee before the deadline in order to be eligible.

Scholarship Audition Requirements
PERFORMANCE CATEGORY
Please send us a video (5 minutes maximum) introducing yourself and performing material that showcases your strengths as a theatre artist. You may choose to include a song, a dance, a monologue or any combination of the three.
An accompanist will not be provided. For sung pieces, we recommend using piano accompaniment (live or recorded), unless the piece specifically calls for a cappella singing.
MUSICIAN CATEGORY
Please send us a video (5 minutes maximum) introducing yourself and performing material that showcases your strengths as a musician. Pre-existing repertoire or original compositions are both acceptable and welcomed.

TECHNICAL CATEGORY
Please send us a video (5 minutes maximum) introducing yourself and demonstrating any previous technical work you have done on a theatre project. (ie. Your high school musical, band concert, etc) Video support material may be submitted with a student’s Application, via YouTube link only.
Examples:
-If you specialize in set or costume design, please provide photos and/or video of what you designed on a specific project(s).
-If you specialize in sound design, please provide video and/or sound clips from a project(s) that you designed sound for.
-If you specialize in direction or choreography, please provide video and photos of projects that you directed or choreographed.
Your video should also include the following background information on the projects referred to:
-Show Title
-Location of production
-Year of production
-Your technical role on the project (ie. Director, Choreographer, Set Design, etc.)
