Things To Know

Policies

Children

We welcome guests of all ages to our theatre but acknowledge very young children may have difficulty with standard theatre etiquette.

If you are contemplating bringing your child to a production, we suggest considering whether they will be comfortable sitting quietly for the duration of the performance. Children who are unable to do so, along with their accompanying adult, may be asked to leave the auditorium.

Most, but not all of our programming is specific to family audiences. If you’re unsure about the suitability of a show for your child, feel free to call our Box Office for guidance.

Every patron, regardless of age, requires a ticket. Babes in arms are not permitted in the theatre.

Electronics & Recording

Using your electronic device during the performance can be very distracting to the performers as well as your fellow audience members. We ask that all mobile and electronic devices (eg cellphones and smart watches) be turned off during the performance.

Taking photos or making audio or video recordings during the performance is strictly prohibited – however, we encourage you to take photos and selfies before and after the show and during intermission! For online posts, please feel free to tag us and share your visit at @RainbowStage, and use the hashtags #rainbowstage and #wpgtheatre.

Food & Beverages

For your enjoyment, Rainbow Stage’s concessions sell popcorn, candy, pop, alcoholic beverages, and other treats before the show and during intermission. We ask that you do not bring outside food or beverages with you to the theatre.

Latecomers

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the Front of House Manager. Late seating will most often occur during an applause break to reduce disruption of cast and other patrons.

Latecomers may be seated in the most easily accessible seats to avoid disturbing the actors and other audience members and may move to their assigned seats during intermission.

Wheelchair Access

All our theatre entrances are at ground level and are accessible to all. We will happily book accessible seating for your party via phone (204-989-0888) or in person at our offices at 1215 Henderson Hwy.
