In-Person Dance Call

Following the first round of in-person audition appointments, some artists will be asked to attend the Dance Call on March 15, 2023.

Video Submissions

Any artist unable to audition in-person is invited to submit a video audition via YouTube link only.

For your video submission, please choose & prepare all audition materials for the ONE role that you feel best suits you.

Audition Materials will be posted on the ‘Audition Materials’ tab (above) on March 2, 2023.

Dance Information

Our Choreographer will provide a Dance Call Choreography Instructional video, which will be sent to all those who have submitted interest by March 6, 2023, should they wish to try it and include with their video.

If you are not able to submit a video of the provided choreography, and you have an existing Dance Reel or video of you dancing, please feel free to include that with your submission.

Video Submission Deadline:

Please prepare all of the following items for your RENT audition:

1. ONE SONG OF YOUR CHOOSING that best introduces the Creative Team to you, as an artist. The piece should be a maximum of 3 minutes long, and should allow you to tell a full story through song. This song does not necessarily need to be in the style of RENT.

2. All songs for the Character(s) you are auditioning for, that are listed in the INITIAL AUDITION SONGS list (below)

NOTE: Following the initial in-person auditions, some artists may receive a Call Back appointment on March 16. Materials to learn for these call back appointments are located in the CALL BACK SONGS LIST below.

Piano tracks and Dance Call Choreography Video will be emailed to those receiving in-person auditions and to those submitting Video Submissions, by March 6, 2023.
