Teaching Artist for July

Elliot is ecstatic to be a part of Camp Rainbow’s inaugural year! He is a Winnipeg-born-and-raised actor, singer, sibling and son. Elliot’s first experiences with Rainbow were as an audience member growing up, going to shows with his family. Since then, he has appeared as ‘Flounder’ in Disney’s The Little Mermaid and performed in Rainbow’s Encore Gala. He has also had the opportunity to train through the Rainbow Stage Conservatory’s Actor’s Intensive. Last season, Elliot appeared as ‘Centipede’ in MTYP’s production of James and the Giant Peach and as ‘Mr. Lindquist’ in A Little Night Music with Dry Cold Productions. Elliot has just graduated from the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Music where he studied vocal performance. Camp Rainbow will be a sort of homecoming for Elliot as he grew up going to summer camp (Camp Massad, where he spent 3 years on staff and spent a total of 12 summers). He also spent last summer working at Mini-U at the University of Manitoba. At both camps he helped with drama and music programming. Going to summer camp played a huge role in his development as a kid with too much creative energy and too few outlets, so Elliot can’t wait to share the magic of theatre and summer camp with the next generation!
