After 15 years as an internationally acclaimed, high profile actor, dancer, and singer, Rainbow Stage Artistic Director Ray Hogg decided to focus his creative energy as a director and choreographer.  He has staged pieces for two European & World tours for CORPUS Dance Projects, at Sheridan College (Chicago, Damn Yankees), Toronto’s Bluma Appel Theatre (The Death of Enkidu), Winnipeg’s Rainbow Stage (Cats, The Buddy Holly Story, Producers, Sister Act), Drayton Entertainment’s Huron Country Playhouse & Drayton Festival Theatre (Guys & Dolls, Sweet Charity), The Stratford Festival’s Festival Theatre (A Grand Night For Stratford), and at the Shaw Festival’s Royal George Theatre & Festival Theatre (Come Back Little Sheba, Ragtime).

Thrilled to be making his Rainbow Stage debut, Anthony brings a wealth of theatre knowledge from over 150 productions as musical director. He has worked across Canada including 13 years as resident Musical Director at Stage West in Toronto. Other credits include Mary Poppins (Globe Theatre, Regina); Spelling Bee (Grand Theatre, London); Songs For A New World and Title Of Show (Angelwalk Theatre, Toronto); Joseph (Drayton Entertainment). As a composer, Anthony has written several musicals including The Rob Ford Musical (Toronto); Not In My Backyard (Port Stanley) and several award-winning Fringe shows in Toronto including the 2015 production I’m Right Here (best musical by Broadwayworld.com). His versatility as a musician has brought him opportunities to work with pop celebrities such as Chantel Kreviazuk, Dan Hill
and Josh Groban as well as theatre icons Andrea Martin and Michael Burgess. He is currently on faculty at the Sheridan College Music Theatre Performance Program and is the artistic director of the
new Voices Rock Canada. Many thanks to Ray Hogg and the Rainbow Stage team for this wonderful opportunity and introduction to the great city of Winnipeg!

Evan is pleased to stage manage Shrek, his 14th production with Rainbow Stage since his debut on the 50th Anniversary production of The King and I!  Evan is also the production manager of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.  In his stage management career, Evan has worked both locally and nationally as a stage manager, for companies such as RMTC, Theatre Calgary, Manitoba Opera & the Shaw Festival. Evan is also an active advocate for the Arts & Cultural sector by serving on the board of Manitobans for the Arts.

This season, Peter and Rainbow Stage are celebrating 10 years together!:  Favourites incl.: Bernardo in West Side Story, Joey in Sister Act, Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Corny Collins in Hairspray, and Danny Zuko in Grease.  Peter was the choreographer in residence for Rainbow’s 60th anniversary season, choreographing Patsy Cline, and associating for The Producers and The Little Mermaid. Peter has performed, produced, and directed across Canada marking a career of centennial proportions.  He has also choreographed for and/or extensively worked in film/televison.  Most recently: Less Than Kind (HBO Can) and The Pinkertons (Rosetta/Buffalo Gals).  Peter has recently been adjudicating across Canada, and when not performing, acts as the business director for Winnipeg Dance Force.  Much love to Josh, Luke, and Kelly!  Enjoy the show, and thanks, Rainbow Stage – for all the great memories!

Laura Kolisnyk brought smiles to millions of little faces performing in North America, France, The United Arab Emirates and Korea with Koba Entertainment.  She has written, choreographed, produced and performed shows for the Kids Fringe. As a recording artist she has voice directed and voiced many cartoons with Dacapo productions and fronts the funkiest kids band in town, The Fun-Key Ducks.  Offstage she teaches musical theatre, drama and kids yoga in Winnipeg.

Delaney was in The Princess and the Goblin, Delfie, Ballet in the Park, Nutcracker, the Great Russian Nutcracker, and was a Ballet Girl in Billy Elliot at RMTC. She’s won scholarships for Studio Works Youth Summer Program and Triple Threat Dance Conventions. She achieves top marks in jazz and tap ADAPT, Royal Academy of Dancing, Cecchetti Ballet and Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations. She is a regular participant of Manitoba Dance and Winnipeg music festivals. She is looking forward to being part of Shrek!

Shrek is the first big show I’ve done at Rainbow Stage and I’m so excited!!! I performed in the 2015 Rainbow Stage fundraising gala Encore and I had the best time!! I have been dancing at Ken Peter’s Dance Express for 7 years and love competing in every competition I can. I love to perform!

Cassandra is thrilled to be making her debut on Rainbow Stage! She just completed her 10th year of dance training at Ken Peter’s Dance Express. She trains vocally in classical and musical theatre and in 2015 was the recipient of a Musical Theatre Scholarship from Dance Manitoba. She has also done vocal recordings for Bigshig Music. Cassandra would like to thank her family and teachers for their continued support in helping her do what she loves…sing and dance!

Katelynne made her Rainbow stage debut playing mini Elvis and being part of the children’s chorus in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Kate’s acting credits include the American Girl production of Saige Paints the Sky, as well as various other movies. Kate has studied various genres of dance, performed in many dance competitions, and received several performing arts scholarships. Katelynne is excited to be back on Rainbow stage performing in Shrek the Musical.

Arianna is delighted to be making her Rainbow Stage debut. Arianna has been performing for Westman audiences as both a member of the Steppin’ Time Dance Company, and as a member of Mecca Productions Performance Troupe. Favorite roles to date include Molly in Annie (Mecca), Young Fiona in Shrek (Mecca), and Mayzie in Seussical (Mecca). Taylor is an enthusiastic 11 year old who is excited to be dancing in Shrek this summer!  Having started dance at 4 years of age at the Shelley Shearer School of Dance, she has won several solo awards including Judges Choice in jazz, ballet and lyrical.  Taylor was selected to be on the dance team for the Opening Ceremonies for the Canadian Rights Museum.  In 2016, Taylor won a 1st place Elite Gold Award for her solo jazz performance and had an Overall Competition standing of 3rd place in the 11 – 14 age group.

Joshua has been dancing since he was 4 years old, and continues to love it to this day. He started singing & acting 3 years ago, and won First Place with his Musical Theatre solos the last 2 years at the Canadian National Dance Championships. Thrilled to be making his Rainbow Stage debut, Anthony brings a wealth of theatre knowledge from over 150 productions as musical director. He has worked across Canada including 13 years as resident Musical Director at Stage West in Toronto. Other credits include Mary Poppins (Globe Theatre, Regina); Spelling Bee (Grand Theatre, London); Songs For A New World and Title Of Show (Angelwalk Theatre, Toronto); Joseph (Drayton Entertainment). As a composer, Anthony has written several musicals including The Rob Ford Musical (Toronto); Not In My Backyard (Port Stanley) and several award-winning Fringe shows in Toronto including the 2015 production I’m Right Here (best musical by Broadwayworld.com). His versatility as a musician has brought him opportunities to work with pop celebrities such as Chantel Kreviazuk, Dan Hill
and Josh Groban as well as theatre icons Andrea Martin and Michael Burgess. He is currently on faculty at the Sheridan College Music Theatre Performance Program and is the artistic director of the
new Voices Rock Canada. Many thanks to Ray Hogg and the Rainbow Stage team for this wonderful opportunity and introduction to the great city of Winnipeg!
